Tour Plan

Welcome to Morocco! Upon your arrival at Casablanca airport, our representative will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall, holding a sign with the company name and logo. After passing through passport control and collecting your bags, you will meet our representative and be transferred to your hotel in Casablanca. Later in the evening, you will join the group that departed yesterday from Marrakech and enjoy a welcome dinner together. This will be an opportunity to meet your fellow travelers and learn more about the exciting journey ahead. Overnight in Casablanca, with dinner included.
We start our day with breakfast at the hotel and then depart for Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Upon arrival, we will embark on a morning tour to visit the Oudaia Kasbah, the Hassan tower, and the Royal Palace. After lunch, we continue our journey to Meknes, the third of Morocco's Imperial cities, where you will have some free time to explore at your leisure. Overnight in Meknes (Breakfast included).
After breakfast at our hotel in Meknes, we will depart for a day filled with history and stunning natural beauty. Our first stop is at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the largest ancient site in Morocco that dates back to AD40. This UNESCO-listed site was once the capital city that ruled the entire Roman province of Mauritania. From Volubilis, we will continue our journey to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided tour of the medina, with its white-washed walls and beautiful blue doors. Originally a Berber post, Chefchaouen's central mosque, Kasbah, and bustling market offer a mix of traditional Moroccan and tourist fare. After exploring the city, we will return to our hotel in Chefchaouen for an overnight stay. Overnight Chefchaouen (Breakfast included).
After breakfast, take some free time to explore Chefchaouen before we depart for Fes in the afternoon. Fes is the world’s largest and oldest medieval city, and its medina is a vibrant and fascinating mix of smells, sounds, and sights. There are five themed tourist circuits to choose from to help you navigate the maze-like medina. While there are many mosques and palaces to visit, please note that only Muslims are allowed to enter the mosques in Morocco. We'll enjoy a leisurely lunch in Chefchaouen before heading to Fes. Overnight Fes (Breakfast included).
After breakfast, we'll embark on a fully guided tour of Fes, one of the most fascinating cities in Morocco. Our tour will take us to the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to the 9th century. Explore the narrow streets, alleys, and souks, and see traditional artisans at work, producing everything from leather goods to metalwork. We'll also visit the historic Medersa Bou Inania, a 14th-century Islamic school that is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. And we'll visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world. In the afternoon, we'll return to the hotel to freshen up and get ready for an optional night of Moroccan entertainment and food at a restaurant in town. Overnight Fes (Breakfast included).
After breakfast, we depart from Fes and head towards the beautiful alpine town of Midelt, nestled in the Moyen Atlas mountain range. On the way, we will pass through scenic landscapes and stunning vistas, providing a glimpse into rural Moroccan life. Upon arrival in Midelt, we'll have some free time to explore the area or relax in the tranquil mountain setting. In the afternoon, we will visit a local Berber family to learn about their way of life and experience their traditional hospitality. Our visit also supports the family's livelihood, as we have helped fund the construction of a new toilet block for the extended family. We'll also enjoy a small hike in the surrounding hills, taking in the beautiful views and fresh mountain air. Overnight Midelt (Breakfast & Dinner included).
We depart for the mighty Saharan Dunes with excitement in the air. Along the way, we pause for a satisfying lunch and, in the summer, we may have time to take a refreshing dip. Then, we make our way to Erg Chebbi in Merzouga where we switch to our camels and embark on a trek into the vast Sahara Desert to witness the breathtaking sunset. Afterward, we return to our authentic Berber Camp, situated on the edge of the desert, for an unforgettable evening filled with local food, music, and stargazing under the Saharan sky. Overnight Berber camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included).
After bidding farewell to the desert, we make our way to the stunning Todra Gorge. This awe-inspiring natural wonder towers at 1000ft, with soaring limestone cliffs on all sides, earning its nickname as Morocco's Grand Canyon. Before reaching the Gorge, we make a stop at a local Berber co-operative where you can browse and purchase authentic handmade rugs, kilims, and carpets. In the afternoon, you can choose to explore the Gorge on foot, stroll through the Palmerie, or participate in an optional rock climbing activity. As the day progresses, watch the colors of Todra change in the warm glow of the setting sun. Overnight Todra Gorge (Breakfast & Dinner included).
Today we say goodbye to Todra as we travel to Ait Benhaddou, passing through Ouazazate. During our journey, we'll stop to purchase lunch, and for those who are interested, we have the option to take a tour of the famous film studios in Ouarzazate, which have been used for movies like Gladiator, The Last Temptation of Christ, and The Living Daylights. Upon arrival at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River, we'll have a guided tour of the famous Kasbah and village, known for its well-preserved Kasbahs. Some of these ancient fortifications still serve as homes. This afternoon we'll explore the site where the famous film Lawrence of Arabia was once filmed. Overnight in Ait Benhaddou (Breakfast and Dinner included).
We start our day with a scenic drive as we cross the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains en route to Essaouira. This colorful fishing town is located within 15th century Portuguese fortifications and is known for its great beaches and surfing spots. Once we arrive, you can choose to relax on the beach or explore the UNESCO-listed medina with its various souks and woodcarving workshops. The medina is easy to navigate, with any city gate leading to it. The beach is right in front of the medina, and there are plenty of cafes with terraces, perfect for relaxing for a few hours. You'll find blue doors and window frames throughout the medina, as well as shops selling local artists' crafts, such as carpets and Thuya wood carvings. You can also sit on the beach, sip some mint tea, and watch the sun set, a perfect way to unwind after the hustle and bustle of the Imperial cities. Day 11: Essaouira We have the entire day to explore and enjoy the sights and activities of Essaouira. There are optional activities available if you choose to participate. 2 x Overnight Essaouira (2 x Breakfasts included).
We bid farewell to Essaouira and head back to explore the final Imperial city of Morocco, Marrakech. As we approach the city, the snow-capped Atlas Mountains create a stunning backdrop to the city's skyline. Marrakech's most iconic landmark is the Koutoubia Tower, which is said to be the sister tower to the Tower of Hassan in Rabat and the Giralda Tower in Seville. Legend has it that after the third tower was completed, the sultan had the architect's eyes put out so that he wouldn't build another more beautiful tower elsewhere. We'll have the chance to explore the UNESCO-listed medina and the Djemâa-el-Fna, an extraordinary gathering and marketplace that should not be missed. Overnight Marrakech (Breakfast included).
On Day 13, you have the option to book a guided city tour of Marrakech in the morning. This will leave the afternoon free to explore the city further, relax by the pool, or participate in any of the optional activities available. Overnight Marrakech (Breakfast included).
Your adventure tour ends after breakfast (Breakfast included).

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
